 Legacy Farm and Stable's lessons provide a base from which all riders can then develop specialties, i.e. Dressage, Showjumping, Eventing, or Pleasure Riding. All LFS lessons teach Horsemanagment Skills along with specialized riding skills. This helps beginners by creating a broad base of support for their horsemanship. It also starts them on the stepping stones of a long life with horses. All lessons work off the basic Dressage principals and the (BBP) Basic Balanced Position. With this position any rider can then master the skills needed to go on with the discipline of their choice. All riders begin at their own skill level and then work a systematic program upward to achieve their goal. Come take a test ride with us you will be glad you did. All riders are required to sign a release form and wear an ASTM-SEI approved riding helmet and shoes or boots with a 1/2 inch heel and smooth sole. Close fitting clothes are also helpful and therefore encouraged | ||||||||||||
| Lesson Fees are based on the Lesson, the average lesson runs 45 min to an Hour Private $35.00 Semi private $25.00 Cross Country Lessons at Deep Creek. $100.00 for a 3 hour block (includes course fee). Working Student teachers $15.00 (by special appt) If you need a school horse add $5.00 If you pay for a block of 4 lessons to be used in the same calendar month you receive a 10% special.
