 Legacy Farm and Stable's lessons provide a base from which all riders can then develop specialties, i.e. Dressage, Showjumping, Eventing, or Pleasure Riding. All LFS lessons teach Horse managment skills along with specialized riding skills. This helps beginners by creating a broad base of support for their horsemanship. It also starts them on the stepping stones of a long life with horses. All lessons work off the basic Dressage principals and the (BBP) Basic Balanced Position. With this position any rider can then master the skills needed to go on with the discipline of their choice. All riders begin at their own skill level and then work a systematic program upward to achieve their goal. Come take a test ride with us you will be glad you did. All riders are required to sign a release form and wear an ASTM-SEI approved riding helmet and shoes or boots with a 1/2 inch heel and smooth sole. Close fitting clothes are also helpful and therefore encouraged | |||||||||||||
| Lesson Fees are based on the Lesson, the average lesson runs 45 min / 50 min Private $ 40.00 Semi private $ 25.00 If you need a school horse add $5.00 Cross Country Lessons at Deep Creek, or Tulip Springs $100.00 for a 3 hour block (includes course fee) per Rider. Working Student Instructors $15.00 (arranged by Chief Instructor) If you pay for a block of 4 or more lessons to be used in the same calendar month you receive a 10% special.
