Legacy Farm and Stable has been in this area for over 15 years. We are always looking to expand the horizons of those who wish to learn about horses by offering riding lessons and training, clincs and camps. Legacy Farm and Stable is dedicated to the promotion of good horse management, classical dressage training, eventing and show jumping. We are always looking for ways to bring the magic of horses into the lives of anyone that has the love of horses by teaching the most elegant of riding, classical dressage, to the adrenaline rush of eventing and basic Horsemanship for the back yard horseman. Our focus has always been families and their horses. Coach Morgan is a highly successful Instructor, Trainer, and International Clinician for over 40 years. She divides her time between teaching the RIDE RIGHT PROGRAM that was developed by Daniel Stewart, the former USEA Olympic Coach, and her own Teaching and Training barn in Washington State. Her background in Dressage and Combined Training allows her to teach all level of riders from beginners to advanced. She is part of a team of 9 certified coaches teaching the RIDE RIGHT PROGRAM in the world.
Good horsemanship encompasses an understanding and proficiency in many different subjects relating to horses including: health care, proper feeding and nutritional management, good basic riding skills, equine anatomy, and the development of an empathy and appreciation of the abilities and limitations inherent in the equine species. OUR STAFF: We sponsor the Couer du Cheval Pony Club, and support the local 4-H fair. Many of our riders are competing in National competitions. We have had 3 riders qualify to compete in the Western United Sates USPC Show Jumping Championships in Sacramento, CA. One of our riders took 2nd in the Area 7 Eventing Championships in the Novice Division. This year one of our Team members rode in Kentucky and had the best Dressage score of all. And our Novice Team at Rebecca Farm HT took 2nd over all because of their Double clear rounds in Cross Country and Stadium. | |||||||||||||
